When Brenna was born, we were new to this Parent game and it took us quite some time to figure out the nature of Babyhood. Now that Leigh is here, even though we've been down this road before I realize that we have *nothing* figured out. What worked for Bren at this age doesn't necessarily work for Leigh, and there are more differences between these two than the obvious boy-girl factor. I had clues to each of their different personalities even in the womb. Where Bren is more intense and assertive, Leigh seems to be laid-back yet tough. They both have a fine Irish/Southern temper but they each express it differently. Let's hope that we'll have at least a couple of years of peaceful scenes like this one before we start to see the inevetible clash of those sibling tempers.
